This whitepaper provides an initial summary of certain technical and business essentials. This document is expected to evolve over time, as the IHUNT project proceeds. Looking back in time /About the 2016 mobile game phenomenon

In 2016 there was a global treasure hunt game that was indeed a phenomenon. Everyone knows AR game. The games revenue in the first month broke records, at $207 million. This was despite its launch being staggered, with its Japanese release not occurring until two weeks after general release. It was also the most downloaded, topped most international charts, and grossed $100 million in a mere 20 days. Players loved the treasure hunt at home and outdoors capabilities.

The success, however, could not be sustained. The game seemed to be an all-conquering phenomenon in its first few months, but hype died as the summer ended and people moved on to other things. At its peak, the game was drawing in well over 250 million people per month, by December 2016 that number had fallen to less than 50 million. The game however has recovered in users by adding new features, levels and functionality. This is an important message to the IHUNT team to have a continued arsenal of fun features and new prizes ready for deployment

The Technology

IHUNT is technology that has been built from the ground up. The purpose of the platform is to support the our entire ecosystem. The token itself (IGC) is a  built on top of the XRPL Network. Information on the token and the address can be located in the token details section.

The project comprises a combination of game building products including Unity3d, Android and IOS technologies used for the game component. Latest enterprise database solutions are used in the stack including SSO (Single sign on) and authentication methods for across gaming functionality. About the general Blockchain: Blockchain data is always complete, accurate, trustworthy and widely available because as a transaction is processed all computers on the blockchain operate an algorithm to reach consensus regarding the validity of the transaction. Once consensus is reached the transaction cannot be altered by any single party and the outcome of the transaction can then be publicly viewed by all. Blockchains are decentralized, meaning there is no single point of failure which adds to the resiliency of the network, making it harder to attack. By reducing the reliance on centralised record-keeping entities, the technology has the potential to lower costs and improve the efficiency of business processes.

Smart contracts

A smart contract is cryptographically verifiable code that executes instructions over cryptographically verifiable data (i.e token balances). The main feature of such code  integrity is enabled by blockchains. While smart contracts might sound new, the concept is rooted in basic contract law. Usually, the judicial system adjudicates contractual disputes and enforces terms, but it is also common to have another arbitration method, especially for international transactions. Smart contracts are self-executing contracts in which the terms of agreement are directly written into lines of codes. Saqlain, best known for his expert knowledge in all things database, back end, mapping and logic flow for the platform. Saqlain is responsible for everything dashboard, database and API related. Where Simon imagines the vision Ammad technically details how we will get there. Ammad is also the guru behind the front end. Ammad creates all of the unique algorithms that are integrated into the Augmented reality project.

Moin is another guru we have secured in our team and for the last few months Moin has been perfecting the selfie hide and seek game and features for the application. Moin is also working on the other AR games for IGC including our AR Helicopter game that enables players to collect IGC with the chopper they fly.
